Angry Birds Trilogy Releases This Holiday For Xbox 360 Kinect, PS3 Move and 3DS. Contains All Angry Birds Games Except Space

Angry Birds Trilogy has been announced, finally bringing the App Mobile hit to consoles and handheld videogame systems! Angry Birds Trilogy will cost $40 on Xbox 360 & PS3, or $30 on 3DS and hits this holiday season 2012.

Angry Birds Trilogy brings together the original Angry Birds, all of the Angry Birds Seasons expansions except for the most recent Space Expansion, alongside the lesser-known Angry Birds Rio (tie-in with the bird-focused Rio CG film).

Each version of Angry Birds Trilogy will also make heavy use of the exclusive hardware features of the chosen platform. So Angry Birds Trilogy for Xbox 360 makes use of Kinect, Angry Birds Trilogy for PS3 makes use of Move and Angry Birds 3DS makes use of the Touchscreen, stereoscopic 3D and SpotPass and StreetPass features of Nintendo's portable system.

Additionally, purists will have the ability to turn off the additional functionality on each platform and play the game in its original state with a controller and buttons if that's how you want it.

It's great to see Angry Birds finally hit Xbox 360, PS3 and 3DS in such fine form with Angry Birds Trilogy. It took long enough! And those few who have never played the series (Like me) will get a great little package here that contains all the Angry Birds action they so desire.
