Soon you'll find yourself struggling to get a grip of what is going on and why you are prone to these acts of violence.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Movie Announced By CBS Films

Deus Ex: Human Revolution the movie has been announced by CBS Films and Square Enix.

According to the announcement, the upcoming film will be produced by working closely with the developers at Eidos Montreal who created the game. This should insure that the movie is close enough to the videogame to satisfy fans, and it will make many references to the game that fans will appreciate.

Here's the awesome, insane Dues Ex: Human Revolution trailer for the videogame the movie will apparently be based on.

Terry Press, co-president of CBS Films, said: "As is clear from the wild success of the game, Square Enix and Eidos Montreal know how to exceed their audience's expectations by engineering incredible worlds. No one knows Human Revolution like the team that created it, and we look forward to working with them from day one to make a film adaptation worthy of the 'Deus Ex' name."

Square Enix Europe CEO Phil Rogers added: "As the millions of fans who have played the 'Deus Ex' games for more than a decade will tell you, these games catapult you into a universe that is stimulating, engaging and relevant. We're firm believers in building strong partnerships, and so we're thrilled to be working with CBS Films on bringing the unique 'Deus Ex' experience to the big screen."

Deus Ex: Human Revolution the videogame was released last year to much critical acclaim and high praise, selling over 2.5 million copies and finally rebooting the series after many years of lying dormant. And it marked another huge boon for Square Enix as a Japanese publisher, by leveraging their purchase of Eidos properties and updating them in great fashion in order to further target the West with Western games and properties. Many say the purchase of Eidos was one of the smartest moves Square ever made.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution was released on Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Mac, and OnLive in August 2011.

Assassin's Creed Movie To Star Michael Fassbender In Lead Role. Acted In Prometheus and X-Men: First Class As Lensherr

Assassin's Creed: The Movie will star Michael Fassbender in the lead role. Exactly what role that will be is yet to be known, but one would assume he'll play either the assassin from a past era, or as Desmond.

Although it is not known how close the movie will follow the plot of the videogames, and whether or not it will star the same characters like Desmond Miles.

Michael Fassbender is known for roles in X-Men: First Class, Prometheus, Shame, Haywire and upcoming films Twelve Years A Slave and The Counselor. He also developed a movie with Conor McCaughan called Pitch Black Heist.

According to Variety, the plot of the Assassin's Creed film goes like this, "The plot revolves around a man who learns his ancestors were trained assassins after he is kidnapped by a secret org with ties to the Knights Templar, and sent back in time to retrieve historical artifacts."

The next game in the Assassin's Creed franchise is the core title Assassin's Creed 3, set during the American Revolution where players step into the shoes of a Native American named "Connor". The game will be released on October 30th 2012 for Xbox 360, PS3, PC and later for Wii U. It releases alongside an original PS Vita entry in the series (the first to star a female lead assassin named "Aveline") called "Assassin's Creed: Liberation".

Steam Greenlight Announced. Vote On What Indie Games Get Published

Steam Greenlight is a major new Steam Feature Valve has announced for Indie Games. Vote for what new Indie games you want to see published the most for the service. It will launch at the end of August.

The highest-rated Indie Games will be the first to get submitted to the Valve approval process, after which they will get published to the Steam digital store. Developers can submit the work they've done on the upcoming title, from an unfinished playable build to screenshots to videos to a beta, that will help give Steam Greenlight users an idea of the finished project. This should allow developers with interesting concepts for Indie Games to get much more exposure and hopes of getting their game published on Steam than ever before.

Steam is the largest and most popular PC and Mac videogame digital download platform in the world. Thanks to rapid-pace sales of AAA games for outrageously cheap prices (90% off in some sales), Steam exploded to become THE defacto way that gamers buy new PC games; replacing physical brick-and-mortar stores of conventional retail.

“Making the call to publish or not publish a title isn’t fun,” said Anna Sweet, in a press release the developer just released. “Many times opinions vary and our internal jury is hung on a decision. But with the introduction of the Steam Workshop we realized an opportunity to enlist the community’s help as we review certain titles and, hopefully, increase the volume and quality of creative submissions.”

Street Fighter X Tekken Characters DLC Priced At $20 GameStop Confirms

Street Fighter X Tekken 12-Character DLC Pack will cost $20 on July 31st 2012. The downloadable content was discovered as already on the disc you bought by hackers; which served to cause a big uproar for Capcom over fans who feel they were cheated.

Since the upcoming "DLC" characters don't technically have to be downloaded, as they are technically already on the disc.

Regardless, it looks like Capcom will be charging $20 for the downloadable 12-Character DLC Pack that will unlock the characters for you to play as.

The new DLC Characters Pack includes: Blanka, Cody, Dudley, Elena, Guy, Sakura (All from Street Fighter) and Alisa Bosconovitch, Bryan Fury, Christie Monteiro, Jack, Lars Alexandersson, and Lei Wulong (All from Tekken).

Because of the uproar Capcom says it will rethink its approach to on-disc DLC, especially given that sales of Street Fighter X Tekken were not as high as the company hoped.
